Scented candles, room diffusers, incense sticks including various essential oils make the rooms in our homes smell fragrant and arouse the senses. Even if the sun isn't shining you can inject a subtle and sumptuous scent of summer with the introduction of scented candles and room diffusers. Alternatively, you can also use them in the bathroom, for those small confined spaces. A plug-in or electric diffuser uses low levels of electric heat to volatize essential scents.
Work like a vaporizer with marijuana? I want to try but will it be a waste?
A It won't work and would be a waste of the $50 diffuser. Vaporizers do not use water. The diffuser will not operate without water.
So I got a diffuser awhile ago, and kind of just forgot about it until I decided to decorate my room. The smell of the scented oil that came with it has run out. the jar and sticks still smell like the scent it had. I'd like to refill it, with a new scent. But I'm afraid that the two will mix and it won't be pleasant. Any good ways to get the old smell out of the bottle and sticks? (they are currently both soaking in hot water)
A I wouldn't reuse the sticks, but you can find them online at candle/soap craft suppliers. The bottle can be cleaned by soaking in a mixture of vinegar and hot water. Just about a tablespoon of vinegar should do the trick. I'd let it sit overnight, and then rinse well. Good luck!
