- can I use reed diffuser oil to burn in oil burners or to fragrance handmade candles?
What are the safety implications of doing this, if any. And what would the pros & cons be of using reed diffuser oil in this way? thanks
A These oils contains dipropylene glycol which I believe is safe to use in oil burners, as are the essential oils used for the fragance. I have no knowledge of candle making, but assuming that it is safe to burn in an oil burner, it should be fine in a candle too. I am not sure if it would be cost effective though.

ive seen recipes for basic reed diffuser oil, but i cannot find any recipes for homemade pumpkin fragrance to add to the diffuser oil recipe. does anyone know of any...?
A When I read "pumpkin scented" I think pumpkin pie, so I'd go from there. I think you could take basic oil and let it steep for a week with a bag of pumpkin pie spice inside- just find yourself a cotton reusable tea bag or even a coffee filter gathered into a pouch and fill it with the spices you'd put in pumpkin pie- cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg. It might also be nice to use cinnamon sticks, whole cloves and nutmeg pods in the oil and just keep them there if it doesn't make the vase look too cluttered.
